Just when I thought Pega was losing touch with ground realities of LSA credentials, came across this!
We had been living in a tricky mix of cLSAs coming from very old Pega versions, recently certified but less experienced cLSAs on 7.1 and then experts with Cordiant backgorunds trying to gel in.
Its hard to tell when an experienced cLSA is going to do things “Old Way” or a newly certified LSA going to implement a new product feature without wider implications J
The new 7.3 certification seems to be much better aligned, but I think Pega should introduce some bridge certification for already certified experts. Look at the long list of prerequisites, hope it is worth time and money until Pega 8 is launched !!!!!!!
The Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) 7.3 certification is for Certified Senior System Architects (CSSAs) who are ready to extend their in-depth experience and knowledge of building Pega-based applications to include leading complex design projects and having expert knowledge of Pega architecture, security model, and service interfaces. CLSA 7.3 certification requires passing (1) LSA Readiness Exam, (2) LSA Architecture Exam, and (3) an Application build before certification is issued.
