User pages are created through page new method in an activity, these pages can be updated, deleted directly, these pages automatically deleted once logout from the system.

2 Declare page has only Node scope and Thread scope, whereas Data page has 3 levels of scope : Thread, Requestor and Node
3 Declare page is readonly at both scopes were Data page is editable for Thread and Requestor scopes
4 Declare page was part of pega 6.x and below versions, whereas Data page is enhanced version of Declare page in pega 7.x and above.
5 Declare pages don't accept parameters, but Data pages accept parameters.
6 Declare pages can't be used for lookup, but Data pages can be used for lookup
7 Data pages have additional refresh strategies as "Load per each interaction" for Requestor and Thread scopes.
8 The Keyed page access is a good feature when Data page is page list structure, this is not there in Declare page.
9 Data pages have more data sources and a single data page can be mapped to multiple data sources based on when condition.
10 Declare page name starts with Declare_ whereas Data page starts with D_
11 Declare page cannot use SOAP Connectors, lookup and Data Transform as source, whereas Data pages can.
12 In Declare page, the Access group setting and Refresh strategy is done at Definition tab, whereas Access group setting and Refresh strategy is done at Load Management tab in a data page
